Weymouth College

Weymouth College is an ambitious college aiming for outstanding education and results. We are proud to be high performing yet inclusive and accessible in our approach. We challenge and inspire enquiring minds with academic and skills-based courses and produce some remarkable results.  We’re home to the best stone masonry courses in the UK and our alumni include an Oscar winner and a celebrity chef. We attract over 7000 students from across the region and have the privilege to be located on Dorset’s spectacular Jurassic Coast, which is England’s first natural heritage site, and the venue for sailing events at the 2012 Olympics.

We offer high-quality teaching combined with affordable and good value tuition fees, which are up to 33% cheaper than many university prices. It’s little wonder that this has earned us an impressive record of student satisfaction as measured by the National Student Survey (NSS).

We’re proud to offer a value range of foundation degrees, HNCs and HNDs, making it affordable to stay local, study towards university and graduate without the high debt levels that may be incurred by studying away for 3 or 4 years. Our typical fees for a foundation degree are £6000 per year for a Home/EU student compared to £9000 payable at most universities. Studying for two years at Weymouth and then a third year at a partner university will save you £6000 compared to the price of studying all three years at that university – and you graduate with the same degree.
