Welcome to St Helens College. Situated in the heart of St Helens town centre, the College caters for students of all ages, studying at all levels. St Helens College is one of the largest further and higher education providers in the region, with a proven track record of having provided quality education since 1896.

Today, the College operates from two main sites, the Town Centre Campus and the Technology Centre. Courses offered range from accounting to animal care to sport and travel. Our key objective is to serve and support our local community through this difficult economic climate.

We understand that it is a challenge for students to secure good employment – which is why we have developed our curriculum to ensure that students are as well-equipped as possible to be competitive in the jobs-market. We develop employability skills - Maths and English, teamwork, attitude to work and self-awareness. This is also why we offer guaranteed progression and on several courses we guarantee an interview for employment at the end of the programme.

Students can join us full time at the age of 14, to complete years ten and eleven. They can then continue to study at the College up to degree level and beyond. We pride ourselves on this excellent progression pathway. There is also a breadth of provision for adult learners at St Helens College, whether it is to study a course that will enable a promotion at work, to begin an entirely new career, or simply for personal development!
