Mid Cheshire College is a thriving further education college with two centres located in Hartford and Winsford. We can realistically claim to be one of the most successful colleges in the country with OFSTED judging the College to be an "Outstanding" institution at our last major inspection.

If you feel you missed out by not going to university but don’t have the formal qualifications, then the Access to Higher Education course will be perfect for you. The Access course is a Level 3 course for adults with experience of life.  Our Access students have successfully progressed to courses in teaching, nursing, social work, business and many other university courses. You study full-time during the day for one year on this programme, which includes core skills plus a selection of relevant level 3 subjects e.g. Biology, Psychology and Sociology

We also offer a portfolio of HNCs and HNDs including Engineering, Fine Art, Performing Arts and Games Design and Digital Media. Our teaching qualifications also include The Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS). Vocational qualifications integrate academic and work-based learning; therefore you can study while at work, as most programmes are 1 or 2 days per week.
