Learning in a Further Education College is very different from traditional classroom teaching. It’s practical, promotes independence and it’s all about employability. Ofsted have now graded HRC as ‘Good’ and state ‘The College places particular emphasis on developing learners’ employability skills, enhancing their learning through work experience and links with major employers’.

We work with over 400 local and national employers, so we know what they are looking for when they are recruiting.

At Hertford Regional College, our courses are specifically designed with work placements or real-life briefs to help you determine an area of specialism for your future career path or further studies and to enhance your CV. Our Broxbourne and Ware Campuses offer exceptional facilities mirroring industry standards, so you will gain valuable life skills in realistic working environments.

98.6% of our Apprentices found employment after completion of their programme.

You will be taught by excellent tutors who are experts in their field and determined to help you succeed. They will support you every step of the way and make your learning experience enjoyable and memorable. Our supportive careers advisers are also on hand to help you with CV writing and preparing for an interview.

After completion of your course, you can choose to progress your qualifications further, go on to university or enter the world of work.
