CU Scarborough
Here at CU Scarborough we understand the realities of modern student life. Undertaking a degree is a major investment of both time and money and today’s students are increasingly focused on their career after graduation. That’s why we’re determined to give the very best learning experience; the very best facilities and the very best chance of a successful career after you graduate.
We offer degrees in career-focused areas including: Accounting, Business, Computing, Counselling, Cyber Security, Early Years, Education, Engineering, Health, Law, Nursing, Policing and Science.
No End of Year Exams
Teaching in blocks of six weeks means there are no traditional end-of-year exams for our students. Instead, all courses are assessed after each six week block.
High Contact Hours in Small Groups
Our full-time students have twenty hours of classes each week, four hours a day, including a small group tutorial each week. We get to know our students well.
Life-shaped Learning
Timetables are stable and based around a morning or afternoon slot, never both. This means studies can be fitted around work, family or other commitments.
We Keep Fees Low
Our degrees are affordable, with lower fees than many in the sector. We’re determined to give value for money and allow students to leave with lower debt.
State-of-the-art Campus
We’ve spent £14 million on a brand new campus building. It’s a purpose-built development that is one of the most modern facilities in the UK. It includes a library, IT suites, mock law court, engineering and science labs, cafe and lots of individual and group study spaces. Next to us is Scarborough’s new Sports Village. The complex includes an Olympic legacy swimming pool, sports hall, fitness suite, all-weather pitches and the new Scarborough Athletic football ground.
